Certain key areas of Virginia are facing a crisis of leadership.
We’ve seen it impact our schools, our health system, and our economy; and it will define our future if we let it.
Over the last few years, we’ve fallen into a trap of low expectations. These low expectations have resulted in a state of depression and anxiety which results in defining “success” as losing by a slightly smaller margin than last time, while our Commonwealth and our families bear the effects of legislative logjams instead of real change.
Virginia deserves better.
Renew Virginia is committed to elevating candidates across the Commonwealth of Virginia who are agents of change — candidates who refuse to accept the current state of affairs and are willing to take a stand for transformative policies. Candidates who have confronted broken systems with successful strategies for renewal and change.
It’s time to give Virginia the leadership it deserves.

Juan Pablo Segura is a Virginia native and concerned citizen that is ready to transform the political conversation in the Commonwealth.
As a political outsider, Juan Pablo has spent a majority of his career focused on starting businesses and transforming antiquated industries. In 2014, Juan Pablo began a company called Babyscripts that has gone on to revolutionize how prenatal and postpartum care are delivered through the power of technology. The company’s platform was recently named one of the 150 most innovative healthcare technology companies in the world by CB Insights. He’s also been named a Healthcare Transformer by the Startup Health and a Wireless Lifechanger by CTIA for his work in pregnancy care and for his ability to innovate to save women’s lives.
In June 2022, Juan Pablo was appointed by Governor Glenn Youngkin to the Virginia Innovation Partnership Authority (VIPA) board of directors to attract more investment and innovative companies to the Commonwealth of Virginia. Already, in the short 6 months that Juan Pablo has been on the board of VIPA, VIPA has been able to attract an additional $230 million of federal matching funds for additional Venture Capital investments in Virginia based companies. Additionally, Juan Pablo previously served on the Fairfax County Community Services Board, one of the main safety nets for behavioral healthcare in the state and county. He was initially appointed to the CSB after bureaucratic mismanagement produced a taxpayer bail out. Juan Pablo led an internal restructuring taskforce that put the organization back on its feet and made it financially sustainable while still delivering on important programming.
Juan Pablo currently resides in Leesburg, Virginia with his wife Cecilia and is so blessed to have his parents and family reside in the Northern Virginia area.
